Fireproof Wall Panel
Fireproof wall panel category: rockwool-core interior wall panels, with catalogue fire wording only and no claim for all fireproof wall panels.
- This page covers fireproof wall panels only in the rockwool sandwich construction described here; it does not claim that all fireproof wall panels are rockwool panels.
- Machine-made rockwool panel: the catalogue describes it as A1 grade fireproof rockwool.
- No fire-resistance time is stated on this page.
Scope of this page
Many materials can be used for a fireproof wall. This page covers only one construction: a sandwich panel with metal facings and a rockwool core, for a cleanroom interior wall. That scope limit matters, because a buyer who reads a general fireproof wall title might otherwise assume the page covers every fireproof wall system. It does not. It covers the rockwool sandwich wall panels on this site, in their two routes, and it carries the same fire-wording limits as the fireproof sandwich panel page.
Specifying a fireproof rockwool wall
Specify the wall run, the panel route, the thickness, the density within the 60–120 kg/m³ range, and the joint type. Then state the fire documentation required for that exact variant and ask for confirmation before ordering. A wall title alone is not a specification, and a catalogue fire description alone is not a wall-system test result. Certificates are available upon request.
